Arcadia Dolls was created by Cassandra and Licanen, two Spanish sisters. They’ve always been interested in art, literature, fashion, illustration and photography. Licanen graduated in fashion desing and Cassandra in art.

They discovered the world of asian ball jointed dolls back in 2002, and started collecting them in 2004. At first, they dressed and photographed their dolls just for fun, but nowadays their Arcadia Dolls project is almost a full-time job for them.

Licanen designs and sews the doll clothes, while Cassandra makes the photography and graphic desing work.

They’ve published some of their photographs as postcards, bookmarks, posters, stickers, badges and calendars. They’ve also written several articles and sewing tutorials for magazines. Their first Arcadia Dolls book was released on October 2008 (you can find it here: [link]).
